듀얼 부팅(dual boot) 으로 linux 와 windows 를 사용할 때 컴퓨터 시간 동기화하기

Ubuntu, Fedora linux 와 Windows 10 을 같이 사용하는데 Windows 에서 리눅스로 부팅하거나 리눅스에서 Windows 로 부팅할 경우 컴퓨터 시간이 9시간 차이가 납니다.


Windows 는 local time 을 사용하고 리눅스는 UTC 를 사용하기 때문이라는데 다음과 같이 리눅스도 로컬 타임을 사용하도록 수정하면 시간이 동기화됩니다.

timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 --adjust-system-clock


제대로 설정되었는지 확인하려면  timedatectl 을 실행하고 "RTC in local TZ:  yes"  인지 확인합니다.


$ timedatectl

    Local time: 토 2020-07-04 10:31:52 KST
           Universal time: 토 2020-07-04 01:31:52 UTC
                 RTC time: 토 2020-07-04 10:31:52   
                Time zone: Asia/Seoul (KST, +0900)  
System clock synchronized: yes                      
              NTP service: active                   
          RTC in local TZ: yes
